An informational tool, not a home-buying professional.
These terms describe the validation product operated by Good Guys Labs. They are a practical product boundary and should receive legal review before material revenue or expanded services.
No professional or transactional role
New Home Cost Lab is not a real-estate broker, agent, builder, lender, mortgage broker, appraiser, inspector, attorney, tax adviser, insurance producer, referral service, or contracting party. It does not arrange tours, appointments, financing, construction, or a purchase.
Information can change
Builder prices, plans, specifications, incentives, availability, HOA charges, taxes, fees, inclusions, and exclusions can change without notice. Observed dates indicate when we found a fact on the linked official source; they do not promise continued accuracy. Confirm all facts directly with the builder and in the applicable contract.
Calculator limits
Calculator outputs are deterministic scenarios based solely on figures entered by the user or copied from a displayed official-source record. They are not a quotation, appraisal, market value, tax bill, mortgage disclosure, cash-to-close estimate, or promise that a cost is included.
Official links and third parties
Links lead to third-party builder or government pages. Good Guys Labs does not control their availability, content, forms, privacy practices, offers, or transactions. Builder and model names belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify sourced public facts.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access controls, claim a builder you do not represent, submit false official information, inject personal buyer data into fields, scrape the service at abusive volume, or use it to mislead another person.
Builder claims and sponsorship
A claim requires control of a matching official business-domain email and may be reviewed or revoked. Submitted updates publish only after evidence checks. Founding Builder sponsorship is optional, community-specific, and never purchases organic rank or editorial influence. Subscription activation, cancellation, and billing are handled through GGL’s hosted payment processor.
Validation availability
This is an early experiment. Good Guys Labs may correct, narrow, suspend, or discontinue records or features, especially when a source cannot be kept fresh. Contact hello@good-guys-labs.com with questions or evidence corrections.
